Sally Lombard Marketing & Assistant
Sally, based in Minnesota, has always been driven by her passion for photography, which has been a lifelong interest for her. Her photography journey took a significant turn when her two sons started playing youth sports, igniting her desire to capture action shots. This pivotal moment led to the thoughtful gift from her husband, Paul – a DSLR camera, which became the perfect tool for Sally to pursue her quest for capturing dynamic action photos. While her focus initially lay in action photography, Sally transitioned to portraiture and established a successful small business specializing in portrait photography. However, it was her transformative experience at Beth’s Badlands retreat that completely changed her perspective on the world and inspired her love for landscapes. She has since traveled the world with Beth on several more of her workshops and was Beth’s assistant in Iceland. Sally became a member of Women’s Photography Circle three years ago and enjoys her current role as Marketing Assistant.
In her leisure time, Sally enjoys reading, participating in agility work with her red heeler Brandi, and spending quality time on Lake Vermilion in Northern Mn. She frequently travels with her husband to support their son Joey’s college football games, where she serves as a team photographer and has been published in the Argus Leader for her sports photography. Sally’s work has also been featured by the Glacier National Park Conservancy, in their annual donation campaign.
