Color. All I wanted to be sure of on the North Shore workshop was color. Beautiful Minnesota fall color. I got that and I got so much more. Over four days I made new friends, learned new techniques, and found a forever mentor and friend. We hiked, we laughed, we encouraged each other, and we were close to tears one night as we heard Beth’s amazing and inspiring story. We captured the Milky Way, Artists Point, Lutsen Mountain and more. This was a heart-warming, life affirming experience. The camaraderie our group developed was amazing. Within about an hour of meeting each other it seemed as if we had known each other forever. Staying in a beautiful VRBO allowed us to break bread together, to learn about each other, to share stories and life events while giving us space if needed. More than an incredibly talented photographer and instructor, Beth is an amazing person. Authentic to the core, she makes all those around her feel comfortable as she guides you to the next level. I loved this so much I am already signed up for two more workshops with Beth and I am confident that are more than that in my future.

Taking a photography workshop with other women that love photography is such a fun experience and I now have some wonderful lifelong friends.  Beth has a casual, non-intimidating style of teaching.  She took us to a lot of varied places to shoot with different lighting which helped us think about how and what to capture.  I had always thought about astrophotography but taking this workshop pushed me to try it and I can’t wait to do it again! The Badlands offered an amazing landscape and I was able to try different things like putting myself in the landscape shot which I probably wouldn’t have done if Beth didn’t encourage us to do it.

I think I was voted “Most Dramatically Changed” by the group of women I workshopped with at Badlands National Park. First of all, I didn’t consider myself a landscape photographer and really had no stirring interest in the style. Yes, I shoot mostly outdoors, but it’s my backyard (which is about 15 very safe and well-loved acres). Why I signed up is beyond me, but I did after there was a last-minute cancellation. It was one of the best decisions I ever made. Not only did I learn about (and more importantly DO) landscape photography, but I made lifelong friends and connections. Significantly, this workshop pushed me forward to take risks when I got home too. I entered the Minnesota State Fair, passed the jury, and made the exhibition; I applied for and was accepted into an elite photography workshop put on by the Columbia School of Journalism in Missouri, I shot a magazine cover. I can safely say that I would not have attempted any of that without having taken this workshop and connecting with supportive like-minded women. The workshop changed me.

I treated myself to the September Glacier NP Workshop as a bucket-list birthday gift. It truly lived up to everything I had hoped for and more! I wanted to learn how to go from a point and shoot/iPhone to the manual modes on my Canon. Beth was there to answer questions about camera equipment, and she was able to set me at ease in regards to being a beginner! I loved that she personalized the experience with sharing her own story.; She is so inspiring! I also love that I was able to share this experience with like-minded women who love photography & traveling as much as I do! The experience of getting to know them all was just as much fun! With the knowledge I gained, I was able to start taking beautiful photos on the first night! We had the opportunity of exploring various locations to capture pictures of sunrises, sunsets, lakes and waterfalls! Our beautiful cabin on a lake made for an incredible location for Astrophotography as well! I can’t say enough positive things about this experience, and feel that it has forever changed my life! Thank you Beth for not only continuing to be a mentor, but for being a lifelong Friend!

I had a wonderful time on my trip to the Badlands of South Dakota. I learned new techniques and gained some great friends from across the country. I loved the life experience each person brought to the adventure as well as our host. Beth is such a great teacher! She was patient, encouraging and fun! I had looked forward to this trip with her for a YEAR! It was totally worth it and would like to join her for some of her other workshops! 10 Stars from this Wyoming gal! Thank you Beth!

Into the Badlands was a wonderful experience. Beth (our leader) is very approachable and easy to be around. She has a thorough knowledge of both photography and the Badlands Park that she shares freely. I would definitely sign up for another photo adventure with Beth.

I had an incredible time in the PNW with Beth and 5 other amazing ladies. We had such fun photographing the Oregon coast, the California redwoods, sunrises and sunsets, ocean creatures and so much more. Beth was a great leader and teacher. I always learn new and creative tips, tricks and lessons when I go on these workshops. One of the things I really enjoy is the bonding with old friends and new. Always an amazing experience and can’t wait to go on the next one!

Hi! Once again I was so happy that I joined Into St. Augustine We Go. The accommodations were beautiful, clean and right on the beach. I received updates for the trip on a very timely basis (before the trip) and the payment process was so easy. And the best for last, the ladies that I traveled with and our instructor were so great. I will definitely be doing another trip when I am able. 

A photography workshop with only women – amazing. We laughed, talked, traded ideas about everything camera as well as life, ate, bonded and had a great time. Beth answered all our questions with knowledge and sometimes humor. Beth set up many opportunities for us to get amazing photos and showed us some fun techniques. Do not hesitate to go on any of the We Go adventures with Beth. She has done her research; our accommodation was directly on the beach for St. Augustine. Her payment schedule made it easy to budget without having to pay a big chunk up front. I would get an email about 3 days before she took the automatic payment – so easy. Thank you Beth for everything. 

In spite of the less than ideal weather, the fall colors along the North Shore were amazing. The lodge was well-equipped and comfortable, in a beautiful setting. Beth was extremely caring and helpful to me- I hurt my back on the way to Minnesota and therefore had limited agility. She and Lindsay shared their expertise and advice on camera settings, etc. for the entire group. Meeting the other women in the group was a great experience.
