WHAT – 4 Day photography workshop (ladies only)

WHEN – March 31st – April 4th, 2023

WHERE – Joshua Tree National Park

COST – $2600 (shared occupancy, 5 available)
$3095  (single occupancy, 3 available)

TOPICS COVERED – Manual mode, exposure, composition, light, self-portraits, astrophotography, long exposure, composites. Editing videos will be made available after the trip, along with image critiques. I will also be talking about ways to grow as an artist, conquer your fears, and tap into your creativity.

GROUP SIZE – 8 students, 1 instructor

EXPERIENCE – This course is for all levels. Both beginners and advanced photographers will walk away with new skills.

ENDURANCE – Students should expect moderate activity. There will be some hikes involved.

GEAR – Recommended gear requirements are a DSLR or mirrorless camera, camera bag, tripod, filters, wide-angle lens with a large aperture, and zoom lens. A full list with details and specific products will be emailed to you.

LODGING – I have not one, but two houses booked right next to each other in Twenty Nine Palms, CA. Each has its own outdoor hot tub and outdoor living space. Scroll down to see pics. 

TRAVEL – The nearest airport to J Tree is in Palm Springs. You can also fly into LA, San Diego, Vegas, or Phoneix. 

REGISTRATION –  

Alumni Registration: 4 spots will open to alumni at 9 AM CST on April 29th, 2022. 

General Registration: Will open at 9 AM CST,  April 30th, 2022. 

Deposit: $1,000 to reserve your spot. The deposit can be paid either through Zelle or a personal check with no additional fees.

It can also be paid via Venmo Business with a 2% transaction fee.
