Wisconsin Photography Workshop Waterfalls
I will be teaching a Wisconsin landscape photography workshop with a focus on waterfalls on May 7th, 2022. Photographing waterfalls is one of my favorite subjects and I love teaching others how to use filters and explore shutter speeds. The photography workshop will take place at Amnicon Falls State Park in South Range, WI. The park is home to numerous waterfalls and river rapids. Spring is one of the best times to photograph waterfalls!

WHERE – Amnicon Falls State Park, South Range, WI
COST – $400
WHAT’S INCLUDED – 8 Hours of photography instruction. Private Facebook Group. Editing videos.
WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED – Admission to the park and lunch. I will have waters available.
TOPICS COVERED – Manual mode, exposure, composition, light, self-portraits, long exposures, ND filters. Editing videos will be made available after the trip, along with image critiques.
GROUP SIZE – 8 Students, 1 instructor
EXPERIENCE – This workshop is open to all experience levels.
ENDURANCE – Students should expect light hiking. Please note that you will be climbing over rocks, if you aren’t super steady on your feet I recommend hiking poles.
GEAR – Recommended gear requirements are a DSLR or mirrorless camera, camera bag, tripod, ND filters, wide-angle lens. A full list with details and specific products will be posted in Facebook group or emailed to you.
LODGING – If you have a far drive to the area you could look into hotels in Superior, WI.
REGISTRATION – IS OPEN!
A deposit of $200 is required to reserve your spot. Deposits will be taken via Venmo – please sign up for an account if you don’t have one. The remainder is due within 60 days of the workshop date.
