2021 Badlands Photography Workshop

WHAT – 4 Day photography workshop (ladies only)
WHEN – June 16th – 20th, 2021
WHERE – Badlands National Park, South Dakota
COST – $1400 USD (does not include lodging)
TOPICS COVERED – Manual mode, exposure, composition, light, self-portraits, astrophotography, portraits, long exposure, composites. Editing videos will be made available after the trip, along with image critiques. I will also be talking about ways to grow as artist, conquer your fears and tap into your creativity.
GROUP SIZE – 8 students, 1 instructor
EXPERIENCE – This course is for all levels. Both beginners and advanced photographers will walk away with new skills.
ENDURANCE – Students should expect moderate activity. There will be some short hikes involved with the possibility of a longer one (weather permitting).
GEAR – Recommended gear requirements are a DSLR or mirrorless camera, camera bag, tripod, filters, wide-angle lens with a large aperture, and zoom lens. A full list with details and specific products will be emailed to you.
LODGING – I have a block of rooms reserved for us at Circle View Ranch. You will book your room directly through them, and pay the ranch. They don’t open their calendars for booking until February (more details will be made available in Feb.) The average room price was $150-$160 a night and this includes a home-cooked breakfast.
TRAVEL – The nearest airport to Badlands NP is Rapid City Airport.
REGISTRATION – Opens Nov. 29th at 9AM. A deposit of $700 is required to reserve your spot. Deposits will be taken via Venmo – please sign up for an account if your don’t have one. The remainder is due within 60 days of the workshop date. To register email beth@intothewildwego.photography Emails will be answered in the order they are received.
